The health precautions we have in place in BVSD are the same recommendations that the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and our local public health agencies continue to stress: stay home when sick, test for COVID if symptomatic, vaccinate and isolate if you’ve tested positive.
It only takes a tiny amount of fentanyl to be fatal and one of the most troublesome aspects of this situation is that it is believed that fentanyl is now being mixed into every type of drug being sold illicitly and you cannot see it, smell it or taste it – so many of those who overdose, have no idea that they are taking fentanyl.
