Welcome to our 2026-2027 school year!  As we prepare for our new year, we want to share how we approach classroom school supplies and scholar fees for the year.  The most important part of preparing for a new year is ensuring that every child has access to materials and learning supports starting on day 1.  Many of us are also parents, so we also understand how expensive and stressful it can be to shop and gather all of the supplies before school starts, so we have created a system to minimize cost, save time and get supplies in classrooms ready to go for the first day of school!  Below you will find the information about scholar supply fees to help you navigate this!

THIS IS THE ONLY ITEM YOU PURCHASE OUTSIDE OF THE FEES

WE WILL HAVE SOME FOR SALE DURING ORIENTATION AT A LOWER COST

IN JANUARY, TEACHERS WILL SEND OUT A MINIMAL CLASSROOM NEED LIST LIKE BAGGIES, WIPES, ETC.  

In order to give you important information, we have a few events prior to the first day on Wednesday, August 12th.  

UPCOMING EVENTS BEFORE SCHOOL BEGINS:

The first event is Family Orientation.  This is an Open House style event where parents/guardians/caregivers read and sign our partnership agreement, receive our family handbook where important information and policies are published, pay for supply fees, sign up for school meals, learn about transportation and ask questions to ensure a strong start to the year!  There are several dates and times.  

The next event is a Back to School/Meet the Teacher Event on Monday, August 10th from 4:00-5:00 pm at Columbine.  We know how important it is for a caregiver to know who the their child will spend the day with, where their classroom is located, what the classroom routines and systems are and how we start and end our day at Columbine so we will host this event BEFORE THE SCHOOL YEAR BEGINS to ensure a strong start to the school year.  This is a full community event!  Our educators will begin classroom presentations at 4:05!

Following our Back to School Event is a Community Picnic from 5:00-6:00 in our Courtyard!  We will have a food truck and food for sale!  You just need to bring a blanket, chairs and come ready to build family connections!

We are ready to begin and strengthen our partnership in educating your child!  We recognize that you are their first teacher and we take our supporting role as educators seriously!  We can’t wait to see you!
