Hola, mi nombre es Ana R. Cox. Llegué a los Estados Unidos en el año 1996. Comencé a trabajar para BVSD en el 2001. He enseñado preescolar, kinder, primer grado y ocho años en tercer grado. Este será mi segundo año acá en Columbine como bibliotecaria. Soy mexicana de Torreón, Coahuila. Toda mi familia sigue en México. Los visito una vez al año. Soy tía abuela de 12 sobrinos/as. El año pasado me convertí en abuela de nieto David Race. Tengo una hermosa familia, mi esposo Alex, mis hijos Jenny, Amaya & Adyn. Y por supuesto mi perrita Luna. Mi hija vive en Billings, MT con su esposo y mi nieto. 

Hello, my name is Ana R. Cox. I arrived in the United States in 1996. I started working for BVSD in 2001. I have taught preschool, kindergarten, first grade, and eight years in third grade. This will be my second year here at Columbine as a librarian. I am Mexican from Torreón, Coahuila. My whole family is still in México. I visit them once a year. I am a great aunt to 12 nieces and nephews. Last year, I became a grandmother to my grandson, David Race. I have a beautiful family, my husband Alex, and my children Jenny, Amaya, & Adyn. And of course, my little dog Luna. My daughter lives in Billings, MT with her husband and my grandson.

Through collaboration with staff, students, and the community, we foster an inclusive environment where every learner grows in confidence and develops the skills needed to navigate and contribute to an ever-changing world.
